Curriculum Vitae (selection)

Since April 2018, Stefanie Geringer has been teaching and researching at the Institute for Financial Law at the University of Vienna. She also works as a tax consultant and manager at BDO Austria. Her current research interests include EU VAT law, environmental measures in tax law and the EU own resources system. In her post-doctoral thesis (in English), she focuses on the principle of procedural autonomy of Member States against the background of fundamental principles of Union law, in particular the principle of subsidiarity, the principle of respect for national identity and the principle of proportionality.
